Eating fish is permitted on the
Feast of the
Annunciation (April 7) and on the Feast of the Lord’s Entry into
Consumption of wine and oil is permitted on all
Saturdays and Sundays of the Fast (except on Great Saturday – April
18 – when wine, but not oil is permitted); on April 2, the eve of
the Great St. Andrew Standing; and on April 16, Great Thursday.
Wine but not oil is permitted on April 18, Great
Saturday.
On all the other days of the Great Quadragesima we refrain from consuming any fish, wine, any oil.
